Bioconda: sustainable and comprehensive software distribution for the life sciences

Abstract : To the Editor: Bioinformatics software comes in a variety of programming languages and requires diverse installation methods. This heterogeneity makes management of a software stack complicated, error-prone, and inordinately time-consuming.
